Why We Embroider, Not Print
Printed graphics are cheaper, faster, and easier to iterate on. We know — we looked at the numbers before deciding against it.
Screen prints crack. They fade unevenly. After a few dozen washes, the crest that made the piece feel intentional starts to look like an afterthought. That's fine for a t-shirt you'll wear for a season. It's not fine for something we're asking you to hold onto.
Embroidery costs more up front and takes longer to produce. It also doesn't crack, doesn't peel, and actually looks better after it's been worn in — the thread settles into the fabric instead of sitting on top of it.
It's a small decision, but it's the kind of decision that either matches what a brand says about itself or quietly contradicts it. We'd rather it match.
